Looking for somewhere a little different to host your event? Mornington has been home to the O’Hara family for 5 generations and it has been the location for decades of family events including weddings, christenings and parties.

The Stables at Mornington has, recently, been renovated and is the perfect place to host family gatherings, boutique weddings, art workshops, private business meetings, company training sessions, wellness retreats & local community led events. The centrally heated stable block is over 150 square metres in size and comprises of 4 large rooms with access to toilets and running water. It is an ideal size for private events at any time of the year. Mornington is only an hour away from Dublin and the Stables at Mornington is an ideal location for private events with its peaceful and tranquil environment.

Mornington is a beautiful setting for your wedding and it lends a style and elegance to your day that is difficult to match. You will have exclusive use of Mornington which will give you and your guests the ultimate experience of privacy, style and intimacy.

Reception

Two large reception rooms greet you when you enter Mornington house with its original wallpaper dating back to 1898 when the extension to Mornington was built. These rooms are regularly used for family gatherings and holiday occasions and most recently to a family wedding. With a Marquee located on the extended croquet lawn in front of Mornington it was an ideal location for the family event.

Garden

The Garden at Mornington has been providing fresh fruit and vegetables to the O'Hara family and guests for over 150 years and provides a sheltered location to those wishing to steal away for some quiet time to themselves.. The walled garden could also be considered as a site for the wedding ceremony itself.
